Promoting systemic thinking, and therapeutic and relationship-based approaches in Social Work

New Voices for GAPS Workshops

GAPS is a UK based charity which promotes relationship-based approaches and psychodynamic and systemic thinking in social work. Each year, GAPS facilitates a range of thought-provoking, supportive and stretching workshops to support social workers to connect and to develop their thinking and practice.

GAPS is excited to announce that we are looking to bring in new voices to deliver workshops and seminars over the coming year. If you have an idea for a workshop, seminar or lecture that is aligned to the goals of GAPS, please get in touch. In particular, we are looking to increase the diversity of our speakers and topics in relation to ethnicity, ability/disability, neurodiversity, and sexual and gender orientation. We therefore would like to encourage, in particular, people who identify as the following to get in touch: racially minoritised, disabled, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+. If you don’t identify with any of these identities, we would still love to hear from you.

Please describe the event you are proposing, this might just be an idea you would like us to explore, or you might have a subject you would like to present yourself.
